Completed in the Fall of 2012, this project consisted of a training building approximately 76,400 sf, an unheated storage building approximately 2,000 sf, a vehicle maintenance shop approximately 5,500 sf, and an organizational parking. The ARC provides an adequately sized and functionally configured facility to accommodate the mission and staffing for the San Antonio Army Reserve unit with administrative, educational, assembly, library, learning center, vault, weapons simulator, and physical fitness areas. The project also provides adequate parking space for all military and privately-owned vehicles. Emerson served as the general contractor and was responsible for the overall management of this project. Additionally, we self performed steel erection and rough carpentry. Emerson received the Operational Reward Safety, Medium Contract for this project, 1st Quarter FY2012 by the US Army Corps of Engineers Fort Worth District.
