This 1,400-meter Qualification Training Range involved moving and stationary targets and the construction of a range operations control tower and a 120 square foot ammunition breakdown building. Emerson received an “Outstanding” CCASS report for this project. As stated on the CCASS report, “Emerson had an excellent team on this project. Superintendent, project manager and QC were highly organized and kept track of many issues and changes on the project. The team was able to identify and fix many issues that would arise before it would affect the contract performance. This allowed the project to be accepted by the Government one month ahead of the contract completion date. If weather would not had been an issue, this project would have been turned over three months ahead of schedule."
